David White became Chief Executive of The Children’s Mutual in 2000. Since then, with the board and his leadership team, David has led the reshaping of the strategy, rebranded the company and changed the business operating model. As a result The Children’s Mutual is now a market leader and financially much more robust.

Throughout this period David has worked closely with Alistair, typically meeting monthly and running executive two day offsites twice or three times a year. Recently Hilary has also been working with the board, under the Chairmanship of Andreas Whittam Smith.

Ian Mackie became Managing Director of the newly formed Cooperative Life Planning in 2006. Since then he and his team have quadrupled sales and significantly grown the profitability of the business. During this period Hilary has provided intensive support for Ian and his direct reports by meeting monthly with each individual. Hilary, with Jackie’s support, has also facilitated regular offsites,  varying from business strategy to team development.

Bluefin is owned by Axa and was formed in 2008 following the acquisition of a number of UK intermediary businesses. Jackie has worked closely with one of the senior executives who runs a significant client services function. Jackie has supported her as she worked through the implications of the multiple mergers, shaped the future structure of her organisation and developed her own appropriate leadership style.

Fidelity - Europe Logo Working with Entrepreneurs – the example of TDX Group

Mark Onyett is the co- founder and Chief Executive of TDX Group. TDX was set up in 2004 to revolutionise the debt industry with a new, analytical approach. Since then TDX has been ranked 11th in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 of the UK’s top performing private companies, twice been voted a top 50 place to work in the UK, grown to over 130 people , expanded internationally and successfully attracted a significant minority investment from Investcorp Technology Partners.

Alistair has worked with Mark and his top team throughout this period, supporting him during at least 4 changes of location varying from Mark’s kitchen table to the current city centre offices.

In 2009 LCB supported start up/entrepreneurial businesses in food retail, packaging, martial arts, telecommunication , hydrogen fuel cell cars, internet retailing, travel and credit cards.
